That’s not a typo … The year: 1919. The drum: Ludwig Nickel over Brass Concert Dance Model. The sound: one of a kind. This is the oldest drum we have recorded to date at Drum Sound Studios and it’s a beauty. In fact, this drum was the precursor to the Black Beauty which was based on the DeLuxe range of drums using the same shell technology perfected on the Concert series. Who wouldn’t want a 1919 brass shell snare sample for their library? Wonderful tone.

Each Articulation has multiple Velocity and Round Robin samples to provide a very dynamic and responsive Trigger replacement, replacing everything from ghost strokes to the loudest rimshots. These individual files are also included, in case you want to create your own MIDI or use another Trigger application. There are more than 35 individual velocity samples included.
