1973 Slingerland Deluxe Concert King Maple Natural Samples
That 70’s Sound … In 1973, Slingerland described this snare as having “the most incredible tone response ever built into any drum”. It featured a 5-ply maple shell with beveled edges and hot lacquer applied to the inside of the shell, 10 lugs for accurate tuning, and an all new snare strainer system. This drum sounds as great today as it did back then.
