That Great Gretsch Sound … A collaboration between Gretsch and Mike Johnston, this drum blends the classic 6-ply maple/poplar Brooklyn wood shell formulation with some high-performance add-ons like heavy-duty engraved Gretsch 302 Hoops (3.0mm double-flanged) sitting on double 45° bearing edges for optimized head and shell interaction. Plus, the 42-strand snare wires give the Brooklyn Standard a fat attack and incredible response. Warm presence and great tone.
