Unique Sounds for your Sonic Palette …

This Mastered Sample Pack includes more than twenty 24-bit Sample Files with a sample rate of 48kHz, professionally recorded with 11 mics, including Coles 4038’s and AKG C414’s and mixed on an SSL 4000 console.   The samples include a 6” 2022 Tama Metalworks Effect Series snare drum, a 2018 Sonor Jungle Force 2”x10” Tamborine snare, hand claps, and special mixed samples for classic sounds including:

1. Rick Allen huge snare drum sound

2. John Mellencamp hand clap sound

3. Kenny Loggins Danger Zone toms sound

The iconic sounds were re-created using actual acoustic snares , toms, and human handclaps in Drum Sound Studios.  For example, to re-create Def Leppard’s massive snare sound (as featured in the song Pour Some Sugar on Me), we mixed our raw snare samples from a 2021 DW, a 1969 Pearl, a 1947 Leedy Broadway, a 2020 Gretsch Bell Brass, a 2020 Gretsch Swamp Dog, and a 1961 Beverley Snapper.  

Additionally, there are 60 raw samples files included for the Sonor Select Force Jungle.  This unique drum is 10” in diameter and only 2” deep, and the hard wood shell has holes in the sides with 16 tambourine jingles embedded in them.  The jingles, in combination with the 16-strand snare, produces a unique tight tone.  This snare drum is very snappy, allowing it to deliver cool timbale sounds.

SPD-SX compatible samples are included for each sound.  This allows easy triggering and control from your Roland SPD-SX device.  

Also included are two Steven Slate Audio Trigger 2 preset Instrument Files (.tci) for easy drag-n-drop into Slate Trigger to layer or replace existing sounds in your mix.  The Instrument Files included are:

2. Handclaps

Each Articulation has multiple Velocity and Round Robin samples to provide a very dynamic and responsive Trigger replacement.
