Century Old Brass

This is Leedy’s “black beauty”. During its production history from 1921 to mid-1930s, the drum was first called the Multi-Model Classic, then the Elite Professional, and finally the Black Elite. Engraved Black Nickel over Brass with golden brass hardware. We added new heads and new snare wires, and this drum sounds incredible! The attack of brass combined with the rimshot smack of a modern die-cast hooped drum.

Dimensions: 5” x 14”
Shell: Black Nickel over Brass
Batter Head: Remo Weather King Vintage
Resonant Head: Remo Ambassador
Snares: Ludwig 18-strand wires

‣ Resonant = 284 Hz
